Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Åke Jönsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Albins Kamrater booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jan-Åke Jönsson. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 56th minute Emil Majtyka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th play minute Cristian Sancho came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jan-Åke Jönsson. 0-3. Albins Kamrater's Jan-Åke Jönsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Albins Kamrater from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
