The crowd rose to their feet as Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Lano in the 5th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares had great luck who in the 5thth minute grab hold of the ball when Adrián Espadas from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 13 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Dan Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrián Espadas scored 2-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 54th minute of the match, Kevin Mastache tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dan Wennerqvist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dan Wennerqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Adrián Espadas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Dan Wennerqvist in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Răzvan Necula in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amador Venceslao took the corner. 82 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abram Secada who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Dan Wennerqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Soroca F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
