Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Panama were furious when Felipe Ros was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 4th minute, one of Panama:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Panama. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for La Tribuna Tambien Juega. Fernan Tulio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcos Cotilla. 1-0. In the 8th minute, Silverio Liberto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a rather tough play, Panama's Miguel Miralles got a free kick in the 14th minute. Bernardinho Pimenta struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Tribuna Tambien Juega. 24 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silverio Liberto. The crowd rose to their feet as Placido Enetz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play. After 43 played minutes La Tribuna Tambien Juega got a freekick which was hit by Åke Kock. Long Sen Jing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Liberto came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to La Tribuna Tambien Juega getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Åke Kock hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Fernan Tulio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Liberto in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Liberto came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Silverio Liberto notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. La Tribuna Tambien Juega's Celestino Fernandez was substituted for Atala Bačo. La Tribuna Tambien Juega's Gürel Olgunay was substituted for Adolfo Qwinton. Åke Kock kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Liberto in the 75th minute of play. Long Sen Jing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Placido Enetz went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Liberto in the 88th minute of play. If Aron Wassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Miguel Miralles fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Miguel Miralles a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of La Tribuna Tambien Juega booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Miralles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Enetz in the 96th minute of the match.
