With a left leg Xu Yi Lei saved City Friseur Wuppertal from getting behind. 8 minutes into the match, City Friseur Wuppertal's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Xu Yi Lei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Chile booed when City Friseur Wuppertal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Işık Ayman didn't get a good kick on the ball. City Friseur Wuppertal's Xu Yi Lei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, City Friseur Wuppertal's Nuratay Ergüner got a free kick in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Julio Aguayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Aguayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xu Yi Lei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to City Friseur Wuppertal getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Nuratay Ergüner hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albi Martínez got free with Thiago Pliego in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Waldemar Ryback was slow to take the kick. During this time City Friseur Wuppertal's players had a chance to rest. Waldemar Ryback made a great header on City Friseur Wuppertal's corner, it was just that Chile's Thiago Pliego managed to reach the ball for a save. 38 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Albi Martínez came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nebi Tokyürek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. City Friseur Wuppertal's Cem Yılğıralp was substituted for Mehmet Oğuz Bayramoğlu. 60 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Nebi Tokyürek came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. City Friseur Wuppertal's Edwin Vestlund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Pliego in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pedro Indiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Xu Yi Lei made a huge save. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albi Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Waldemar Ryback's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chile walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
