Carlo Amadei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Carlo Amadei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Jerico in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Las Momias F. C.'s Carlo Amadei. Carlo Amadei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
