Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Berganza kicked off to start the match. Alex Cambeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Miralles during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, Miguel Miralles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 9th minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abraham Alguacil made a great header on Panama's corner, it was just that Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg managed to reach the ball for a save. Tomas Berganza scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarrett Rosenberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 18 minutes of play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarrett Rosenberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jarrett Rosenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cosmos Soccer Club's Nicky Cavazos got a free kick in the 29th minute. Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 30th minute of play. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute Alex Cambeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrett Rosenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Shawn Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 41 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute Miguel Miralles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrett Rosenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cosmos Soccer Club! Abraham Alguacil shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When Panama's Abraham Alguacil in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cosmos Soccer Club's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shawn Romero made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Cambeiro in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarrett Rosenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute, Abraham Alguacil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Alex Cambeiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alex Cambeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrett Rosenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Jarrett Rosenberg in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 81 minutes Cosmos Soccer Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. In the 83rd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarrett Rosenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Jarrett Rosenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Jarrett Rosenberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 91st minute. The throw-in from Matthew Garrido in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cosmos Soccer Club's Marcus Rush. Jarrett Rosenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 98th minute of the match. Panama's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
