The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 7th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Amadei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 20th minute of play forced Las Momias F. C.'s goalkeeper Carlo Amadei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlo Amadei saved Las Momias F. C. from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Rogelio Fernado sent off a good shot on target. Matheus Nascimento scored 2-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Las Momias F. C.'s Carlo Amadei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 35th minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. If Matheus Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Las Momias F. C. booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Matheus Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlo Amadei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 62nd minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Las Momias F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Carlo Amadei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Hipolito Jerico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Las Momias F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Talamo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Las Momias F. C. were the better team. Las Momias F. C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
