After a defensive mix-up in SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s zone, Edward Mcdonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andriy Lunin came out of the goal and Edward Mcdonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. In the 71st minute, Monty Rogers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
