The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot 3 in the game by Zhu Yan Quan from a close distance when the talented Pedro Manzanares managed to make a qualified save. Colombia's players were relieved. In the 7th minute of the match, Zhu Yan Quan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Manzanares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zhu Yan Quan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Pedro Manzanares managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Victoria Toruń's Zhu Yan Quan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 35th minute, Axel Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Borys Poreda. Victoria Toruń's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. With his leg Pedro Manzanares managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Victoria Toruń's Zhu Yan Quan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhu Yan Quan in the 40th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. If Dragolyub Dzhahov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zhu Yan Quan went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from D.J. 武磊 in the 63rd minute of play. After 66 played minutes Victoria Toruń got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Marmol. In the 67th match minute, Victoria Toruń was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Marmol to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhu Yan Quan in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orlando Tafalla hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Borys Poreda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Colombia's Ignacio Mastache nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Borys Poreda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Victoria Toruń's Lóránd Szarka was substituted for Benedykt Kluska. Pascual Carballar struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Borys Poreda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Victoria Toruń's Zhu Yan Quan. But to his dismay, Zhu Yan Quan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zhu Yan Quan went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. After 92 minutes, Zhu Yan Quan made it 6-3 with a short kick to the right side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute, Zhu Yan Quan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victoria Toruń's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
