Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Koper's Cveto Novinec. Cveto Novinec was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Istok Marinč hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 14th play minutes Minas Markomichalis shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. Orlando Sasoin made in the 17th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Matthews Haskell. Minas Markomichalis kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 21stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Venezuela's keeper Jonathan Ferrant was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Correa in the 26th minute of play forced FC Koper's goalkeeper Cveto Novinec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cveto Novinec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of play. After 29 minutes FC Koper's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Salvador Gisbert managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. FC Koper's Cveto Novinec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 33rd minute of play. Eren Vezir hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the game, Orlando Sasoin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Koper's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Manos Labrou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Minas Markomichalis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Minas Markomichalis in the 52nd minute of play. Cveto Novinec made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Jago in the 70th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Koper booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 84th minute of play forced FC Koper's goalkeeper Cveto Novinec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th of the match, Patricio Costa tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Cveto Novinec got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 87th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Orlando Sasoin tried in the game's 87th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Cveto Novinec. An annoying self made goal, 1-2. In the 91st minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Venezuela players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
