After a defensive mix-up in Fidan SK's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yavuz Selimhan Yağız came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fidan SK's Yavuz Selimhan Yağız played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yavuz Selimhan Yağız made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rauf Özalp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Yetkiner İzzettin scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 21 minutes, İskender Orcun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fidan SK and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fidan SK's İskender Orcun got a free kick in the 21st minute. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Grivekov in the 24th minute. Yavuz Selimhan Yağız made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Alemdar Şahin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fidan SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alemdar Şahin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th match minute, Fidan SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bedih Tuğalp to maneuver through the defense. Ufuk Okutman hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Grivekov. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alemdar Şahin in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Fidan SK's Yavuz Selimhan Yağız played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 54th minute of play. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 55th minute. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, one of Mexico:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rauf Özalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Grivekov in the 67th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Grivekov in the 68th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Yavuz Selimhan Yağız in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the match, Rauf Özalp notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fidan SK made a substitution. Zhou Yuan Ting replaced Rauf Özalp. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhou Yuan Ting, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Grivekov in the 85th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Grivekov in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Grivekov in the 89th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ivan Grivekov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Yavuz Selimhan Yağız was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhou Yuan Ting, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Facundo Cadaval was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fidan SK the free kick. In the 96th minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Zhou Yuan Ting came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
