Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibor Lázár in the 13th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibor Lázár, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After some careless play in the FC BerserkerS defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigio Orlondo. The FC BerserkerS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigio Orlondo should have stopped the shot. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Rashko Bosolov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC BerserkerS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. After 30 played minutes FC BerserkerS got a freekick which was hit by Rashko Bosolov. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Minkovski in the 53rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Minkovski came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Remigio Orlondo firmly grabbed it by the left post. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC BerserkerS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a free kick in the 64th minute. Remigio Orlondo made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Minkovski came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Renaud Specht cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 83 minutes into the game, Honorio Palban threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mexico's Felix Luque quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 85th minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. In the 92nd minute, Luca Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remigio Orlondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Renaud Specht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Remigio Orlondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mexico eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
