With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Eduard Semeghin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Rosendo Seguinus in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 53rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rosendo Seguinus quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Semeghin in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Semeghin in the 63rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Victor Huștiu got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Vermeşan, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
