Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) If Vânderson Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Kevin Mastache got a free kick in the 9th minute. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Tristan in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Abuba Akotonon FC's Vânderson Barbosa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 14th match minute, Abuba Akotonon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Artaldo to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Genaro Elivareo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Samuel Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Genaro Elivareo in the 38th minute really tested Pedro Manzanares's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After having played for 41 minutes, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 43 minutes of play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Orlando Gatti was left in no man's land by his defense there! 46 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 47th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Carballar to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cecilio Tristan made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Genaro Elivareo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abuba Akotonon FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Genaro Elivareo was slow to take the kick. During this time Abuba Akotonon FC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which J.J Okocha managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 59th minute of play. Abram Sarmiento took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Orlando Gatti. Hugo Orlando Gatti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Axel Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hugo Orlando Gatti could save by the left post. In the 62nd minute, Emanuel Aurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 67th minute of the match. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. The corner ended in Ignacio Mastache almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti did a great save. Santino Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Hugo Orlando Gatti made a huge save. Abram Secada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Orlando Gatti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Kevin Mastache went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Abuba Akotonon FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ramiro Rey hit a great ball. Colombia's Kevin Mastache got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Elivareo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Vânderson Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abuba Akotonon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vânderson Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Sanson in the 86th minute of the match. Abuba Akotonon FC were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Genaro Elivareo took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Ariel Artaldo drilling the ball in to score 3-3 behind Colombia's goalkeeper. After having played for 90 minutes, Vânderson Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abuba Akotonon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vânderson Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Genaro Elivareo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, one of Colombia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
