Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Peru's Anthony Alvarado managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Emanuel Aurre in the 8 minute of the game. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 14th minute of the match. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Vânderson Barbosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 17 played minutes Abuba Akotonon FC got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Artaldo. The audience was convinced that Emiliano Enol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 30th minute of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. After 37 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Genaro Elivareo who took care of the corner kick. 43 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 51st minute, Genaro Elivareo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Abuba Akotonon FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Orlando Gatti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti. Hugo Orlando Gatti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Abuba Akotonon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Elivareo to maneuver through the defense. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Emiliano Enol got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. In the 94th minute, Emiliano Enol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peru eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
