Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edgardo Silva took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes of play, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! 6 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Navarro made in the 20th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kevin Mastache immediately put the ball in play. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 23rd minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Tony Pacheco notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Edgardo Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Edgardo Silva made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When Edgardo Silva came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the New England Minas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Silva couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute of the match New England Minas got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Glen Conklin ran over to the corner to take the kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

54 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremy Nicholas. New England Minas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Jeremy Nicholas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 58th minute. Axel Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jeremy Nicholas firmly grabbed it by the left post. 59 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save New England Minas from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Edgardo Silva made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Tio Lio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Sito in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Lalo Rosas got a free kick in the 84th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Arturo Sito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Sito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Jeremy Nicholas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tio Lio in the 92nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arturo Sito went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score.
