The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Baumer got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Zuberbühler FC's Marciano Min in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saul Baumer's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Zuberbühler FC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abelardo Nardo took the corner. The corner ended in Abelardo Nardo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet as Marciano Min kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. Marciano Min scored 3-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marciano Min could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Marciano Min sent off a good shot on target. If Saul Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th match minute, Zuberbühler FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Altúnov to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saul Baumer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Baumer, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marciano Min's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zuberbühler FC made a substitution. Jonathan Iruinea replaced Cirilo Ebardo. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Jonathan Iruinea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zuberbühler FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Iruinea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute, Joshua Secada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Saul Baumer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Baumer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes of play, Zuberbühler FC's Saul Baumer made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zuberbühler FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
