Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marciano Min took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Napoleon Dziedelonis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's Marciano Min sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Dziedelonis having to interfere. After having played for 10 minutes, Marciano Min managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zuberbühler FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Min was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. When Jacinto Loramendi fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zuberbühler FC's protests and gave Jacinto Loramendi a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Baumer in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cirilo Ebardo in the 22nd minute. Napoleon Dziedelonis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Dziedelonis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Napoleon Dziedelonis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 33rd minute of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Cirilo Ebardo sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Dziedelonis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Saul Baumer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Zuberbühler FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 39th minute of play. Saul Baumer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Zuberbühler FC's Cirilo Ebardo got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Saul Baumer was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Napoleon Dziedelonis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Zuberbühler FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Ebardo to maneuver through the defense. When Zuberbühler FC's Saul Baumer in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Napoleon Dziedelonis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 59th minute of play. Zuberbühler FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Zuberbühler FC from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zuberbühler FC's Florentino Lastur was substituted for Cirilo Ebardo. Zuberbühler FC made a substitution. Jonathan Iruinea replaced Marciano Min. Zuberbühler FC's Saul Lamberto was substituted for Mariano Berart. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Lamberto in the 68th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Florentino Lastur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zuberbühler FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Napoleon Dziedelonis was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-2. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Zuberbühler FC's Florentino Lastur. But to his dismay, Florentino Lastur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 2-3 became the score in the 88th minute when Cristian Sancho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Napoleon Dziedelonis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
