Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Ivar Unesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Karl-Magnus Henriksson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Sånna goa grejer FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 10th minute of the match, Karl-Magnus Henriksson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sånna goa grejer FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karl-Oskar Håning in the 12th minute. A nice corner shot did that Karl-Oskar Håning got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sånna goa grejer FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 14 played minutes Sånna goa grejer FC got a freekick which was hit by Evert Forsberg. Nils-Åke Biörnberg charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils-Åke Biörnberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Sånna goa grejer FC got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Biörnberg. Ivar Unesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sånna goa grejer FC's Ivar Unesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glenn Olsen in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute, George Kilberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sånna goa grejer FC's Evert Forsberg got a free kick in the 38th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Sånna goa grejer FC's Aleksander Hultman was substituted for Nils-Åke Biörnberg. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glenn Olsen in the 58th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Glenn Olsen's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 61st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th match minute, Sånna goa grejer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Forsberg to maneuver through the defense. Evert Forsberg hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivar Unesson. That made the score 1-2 after 73 minutes of play. The supporters of Sånna goa grejer FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Ivar Unesson in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivar Unesson was a little too slow when Patricio Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-3. 91 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Savas Rouvelas came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sånna goa grejer FC's Evert Forsberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Salvador Gisbert in the 93 minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas's late challenge caught a Sånna goa grejer FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Illescas helped the player get up and apologised. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Although Sånna goa grejer FC had been in control for most of the match, Venezuela still came away with the win.
