When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Kaká Garcia sped through Curacao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. In the 16th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertie Johnson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 17 minutes, Kaká Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valente FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaká Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Higuera in the 21st minute. Madaleno Baltanas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kaká Garcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Barrett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Kaká Garcia took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Bruno Barrett to make any attempt to save it. With an all-out effort, Valente FC's Bruno Barrett threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zhan Gevechanov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Paolo Guerrero in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bruno Barrett, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rocco Owen hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Kaká Garcia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bruno Barrett. The goal made the score 6-0. After 38th play minutes Kaká Garcia shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Bruno Barrett and just under the crossbar into goal. Bruno Barrett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kaká Garcia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 8-0 in the 45 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paolo Guerrero to make the kick off. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 14-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Guerrero in the 91st minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Guerrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paolo Guerrero scored 15-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Valente FC had played much better football throughout.
