The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Maria Goiano was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 11th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Maria Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeng Xu Yuan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 20th minute, Poetass FC's Kalle Billberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witalis Brysz, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jon-Egil Schjelderup came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the game, one of Poetass FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tomas Illescas walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witalis Brysz in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeng Xu Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kalle Billberg scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeng Xu Yuan in the 65th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and José Maria Goiano quite easily take care of the ball. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. José Maria Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Witalis Brysz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 minutes, Rigoberto Mina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Poetass FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 95th minute. The audience held their breath when Zachariasz Rzentkowski in the 97th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jonathan Ferrant's left hand side. Poetass FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
