Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Benito Sanz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Proença in the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of ARON FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edu Proença showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Benito Sanz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastião Xavier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. ARON FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorginho Mattos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edu Proença in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. In the 88th minute, Manuel Bueno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ARON FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. 94 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Proença came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ARON FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
