Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of I ll be back booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Abel Carballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave I ll be back the free kick. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kornél Cziráki, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ödön Végvári made a kick off. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ödön Végvári in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The I ll be back fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when I ll be back's Ödön Végvári looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 70th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Begtan Šuton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Ödön Végvári made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Abel Carballo was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Ödön Végvári put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. 86 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Kornél Cziráki came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88th play minutes Ödön Végvári shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ödön Végvári in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Koppány Sárközi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
