The supporters of Ecuador booed when Pajala Sunrise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Lindqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pajala Sunrise's Cholachat Coolcat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Stig Larsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pajala Sunrise and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Pajala Sunrise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Larsson to maneuver through the defense. Cholachat Coolcat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of the match. Cholachat Coolcat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by 王 江志锋 in the 22nd minute. In the 22nd minute of the match, 王 江志锋 got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cholachat Coolcat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Karl-Oskar Högman kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 38th minute. A collision led to Pajala Sunrise getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Karl-Oskar Högman hit a great ball. Doug Las Casas kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When Felix Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Felix Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Doug Las Casas was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Cholachat Coolcat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 55th minute. Karl-Oskar Högman kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Cholachat Coolcat made a huge save. In the 61stth minute of the game 王 江志锋 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Cholachat Coolcat in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cholachat Coolcat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pajala Sunrise's Cholachat Coolcat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Pajala Sunrise from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ingvar Lindqvist was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played.
