Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Nathaniel Moorby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 8th minute of play. After 10 minutes Canobolas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mateo Leguizamo who took care of the corner kick. Canobolas's Nathaniel Moorby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Canobolas getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Fulgencio Quintana hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Moises Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathaniel Moorby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Abram Luque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Abram Luque cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Nathaniel Moorby was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Canobolas booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Keefer Goucher in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by El Salvador's Luis Rubio. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. Matthew Sanderson made in the 35th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Benjy Nelson immediately put the ball in play. 42 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Benjy Nelson came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacio Manuel. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ignacio Manuel to strike the kick off in the second half. Ignacio Manuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irwin Thomas in the 57th minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Manuel's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irwin Thomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Manuel in the 64th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Tamayo during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Marco Tamayo. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Manuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Irwin Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Moises Fernandino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nathaniel Moorby. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 79th minute, Moises Fernandino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Abram Luque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canobolas the free kick. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Abram Luque got a free kick in the 81st minute. Matthew Sanderson hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Canobolas manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing El Salvador to win.
