The corner ended in Behzat Amir almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Michel van der Bij took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ISPARTASPOR U21 booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joško Van Landschoot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as ISPARTASPOR U21's Joško Van Landschoot slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. In the 40th minute, Joško Van Landschoot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Omar Gelmiro hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

In the 50th minute, Joško Van Landschoot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ISPARTASPOR U21 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After a rather tough play, ISPARTASPOR U21's Olcay Tezkan got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Igor Manex hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, ISPARTASPOR U21's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Michel van der Bij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Joško Van Landschoot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ISPARTASPOR U21's Michel van der Bij did a great save. In the 76th minute Joško Van Landschoot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Michel van der Bij but with some difficulty. After 86 played minutes ISPARTASPOR U21 got a freekick which was hit by Aybar Gürçınar. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joško Van Landschoot, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Behzat Amir was slow to take the kick. During this time ISPARTASPOR U21's players had a chance to rest. ISPARTASPOR U21's Behzat Amir was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The ISPARTASPOR U21 players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
