Estrada Azcona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. If Terho Pasoja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th match minute, CD Suscal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Loco to maneuver through the defense. After 21 minutes CD Suscal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. In the 23rd match minute, CD Suscal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernát Borsó to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Gaos during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 minutes of play, CD Suscal's Estrada Azcona made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, CD Suscal's Lázaro Loco got a free kick in the 40th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The supporters of CD Suscal booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estrada Azcona in the 57th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Estrada Azcona's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. 庄冰悦 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, CD Suscal's goalkeeper 庄冰悦 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Terho Pasoja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Ubaldo Maria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 庄冰悦 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 78th minute. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Venezuela's attentive Jonathan Venegas managed to snatch the ball when Cintya Viteri made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. After 86 played minutes CD Suscal got a freekick which was hit by Estrada Azcona. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the CD Suscal players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
