With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Caetano Messias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brun O'Down made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 6th minute of play. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 7th minute. Caetano Messias scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aron Olteanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brun O'Down was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 16th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Brun O'Down. FC BaLiSt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to FC BaLiSt getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Claudiu Cârțan hit a great ball. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigore Zberea in the 23rd minute of the match. Brun O'Down showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. FC BaLiSt:s Brun O'Down showed great skill when he stopped Mariano Lacasa:s penalty. In the 46th minute of the game Claudiu Cârțan made a throw-in which Grigore Zberea played forward. The FC BaLiSt players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chile were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Caetano Messias made the kick off in the second half. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brun O'Down. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to FC BaLiSt getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Mihăiţă Șeicaru hit a great ball. Mariano Lacasa came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Brun O'Down could save by the left post. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigore Zberea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, FC BaLiSt's goalkeeper Brun O'Down had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigore Zberea, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Brun O'Down took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC BaLiSt's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Mariano Lacasa scored to the left of an out of position Brun O'Down, making the score, 1-3. FC BaLiSt made a substitution. Eugen Braniște replaced Pascual Colon. FC BaLiSt's Traian Nanu was substituted for Aron Olteanu. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Petrică Burnei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Petrică Burnei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Brun O'Down in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brun O'Down showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 minutes, Olimpiu Mercescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC BaLiSt and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC BaLiSt getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Olimpiu Mercescu hit a great ball. The FC BaLiSt supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chile's performance. The match ended with a win for Chile.
