Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Müfit Tolgahan started the match with the kick off. İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Zoido, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. Hector Covarrubias's late challenge caught a Samsunspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Covarrubias helped the player get up and apologised. Habib Kutlar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Pardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Müfit Tolgahan, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Müfit Tolgahan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Samsunspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tamer Mengüç didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Jaime Pardo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Primitivo Escribano might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Primitivo Escribano ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Müfit Tolgahan during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Samsunspor getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Müfit Tolgahan hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Prats. Seyrani İklim hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Jaime Pardo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Tamer Mengüç hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Pardo was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Covarrubias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Samsunspor booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Samsunspor's İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu got control of the ball when Hector Covarrubias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Primitivo Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Primitivo Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Prats kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Müfit Tolgahan in the 73rd minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Habib Kutlar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Covarrubias struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Ivan Prats kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Paraguay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
