When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Roman Bartoszek took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. A hard shot by Luo Ao Le from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Lautaro Navarro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience was convinced that Anselmo Morera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anselmo Morera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Lautaro Navarro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Lukasz Merski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Lukasz Merski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Zryw Samsonów getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Anselmo Morera hit a great ball. Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ronnie Gregoire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Morera in the 56th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Morera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ludomir Biraga got a throw-in 61 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Roman Bartoszek. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luo Ao Le went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. When Roman Bartoszek came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Zryw Samsonów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Bartoszek couldn't finish the play. Zryw Samsonów's Marian Kaszubik was substituted for Gareth Kwiatkowski. A throw-in in the 69th minute of the game was made by Ludomir Biraga with Luo Ao Le as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes into the game, Zryw Samsonów's Anselmo Morera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 78 minutes into the match, Anselmo Morera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Morera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Anselmo Morera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. When Zryw Samsonów's Anselmo Morera in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. In the 89th minute, Anselmo Morera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Honduras's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
