The penalty shot was made by I Ketut Sukmana, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aksu JK's Oğuzcan Tuyuğ. 1-0. In the 16th minute, Gencay Resat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juana's Batara Sudaryanto got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Aksu JK booed when Juana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ading Sastranegara didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sukma Tanonaka to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aral Bedi in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cahyo Garnadi saved Juana from getting behind. Kadim Aktaşoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cahyo Garnadi having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Kadim Aktaşoğlu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cahyo Garnadi, 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yılmaz Yüksel during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Aksu JK getting a freekick after 71 minutes play.
