After some careless play in the Vinolles FC defense, Rolando Suarez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ceandro Pato. The Vinolles FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ceandro Pato should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute, Domingo Baleren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristides Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sauveur Floranes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ceandro Pato made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Abel Iaki sent off a good shot on target. Wachipatos de Mataderos's Aristides Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sauveur Floranes in the 44th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Iaki got free with Ceandro Pato in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Aristides Loren came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Vinolles FC's Sauveur Floranes. But to his dismay, Sauveur Floranes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Rene Patxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ceandro Pato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Patxi in the 61st minute of play forced Vinolles FC's goalkeeper Ceandro Pato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Rolando Suarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceandro Pato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulino Leonor hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The supporters of Wachipatos de Mataderos booed when Vinolles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Leonor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Esdras's late challenge caught a Vinolles FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremias Esdras helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Wachipatos de Mataderos got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Esdras. Ceandro Pato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Iaki in the 76th minute of play. Jeremias Esdras took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ceandro Pato. Ceandro Pato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 83 minutes into the match, Wachipatos de Mataderos's goal looked a bit too open when Sauveur Floranes came free, but Aristides Loren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Esdras might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ceandro Pato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeremias Esdras ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jeremias Esdras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Atilano Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceandro Pato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wachipatos de Mataderos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
