To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan-Åke Pålsson hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Wachipatos de Mataderos's Aristides Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens Uter in the 12th minute of play. Manuel Guzman kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Wachipatos de Mataderos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gunners FC the free kick. After 34 minutes of play, Wachipatos de Mataderos's Rolando Suarez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rune Bergvall was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rene Patxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Bergvall having to interfere. Aristides Loren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Britz in the 39th minute of play. Henrik Kvick hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Rune Bergvall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Esdras in the 42nd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens Uter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Britz took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aristides Loren. Aristides Loren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Aristides Loren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Finman in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Yngve Sandell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Emanuel Britz made a precise shot to the right of Aristides Loren. Wachipatos de Mataderos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. If Abel Iaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rune Bergvall came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Wachipatos de Mataderos's Primitivo Dominix. But to his dismay, Primitivo Dominix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Aristides Loren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Britz in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Finman in the 71st minute of play forced Wachipatos de Mataderos's goalkeeper Aristides Loren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Wachipatos de Mataderos's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Finman came free, but Aristides Loren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Iaki got free with Rune Bergvall in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Gunners FC booed when Wachipatos de Mataderos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Gagriel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Rene Patxi lined in a short shot 2-4 behind a frustrated Rune Bergvall. Rene Patxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Rune Bergvall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristides Loren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Gunners FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Wachipatos de Mataderos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
