The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Barnet County FC booed when PAPURRESCOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Favila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Matias Ricart successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alfonso Ereinotz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Matias Ricart made a huge save. Alfonso Ereinotz came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Matias Ricart could save by the left post. Eliseo Marz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Egoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Leonel Ortzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barnet County FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Ortzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseo Marz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the match, Barnet County FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Walme came free, but Matias Ricart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PAPURRESCOS FC's Eliseo Marz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Egoi in the 37th minute of play. Emiliano Walme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matias Ricart read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeronimo Egoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cirilo Egun hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Egoi struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Eliseo Marz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barnet County FC. 79 minutes into the match, Barnet County FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Ereinotz came free, but Matias Ricart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Barnet County FC booed when PAPURRESCOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Bizen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Ereinotz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matias Ricart was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. When Alfonso Ereinotz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 84 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Matias Ricart was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Alfonso Ereinotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Ricart having to interfere. Eliseo Marz came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Barnet County FC's Jeronimo Egoi. But to his dismay, Jeronimo Egoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a little luck, PAPURRESCOS FC's Eliseo Marz got control of the ball when Jeronimo Egoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jeronimo Egoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
