Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Bill Fitzpatrick slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Åke Utter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Utter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, FC NILS's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Åke Utter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 minutes of play, FC NILS's Bill Fitzpatrick made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 27th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zebastian Palmkvist. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Zebastian Palmkvists short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 41st minute, Håkan Löfgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as FC NILS's Bill Fitzpatrick slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 4-0 after 44 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zebastian Palmkvist was the one to do the kick off. When Zebastian Palmkvist came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the FC NILS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zebastian Palmkvist couldn't finish the play. Bill Fitzpatrick kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zebastian Palmkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. FC NILS made a substitution. Florencio Gaueko replaced Ervin Gigovski. FC NILS's Filip Örtlund was substituted for Bill Fitzpatrick. A collision led to FC NILS getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Håkan Löfgren hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filip Örtlund in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Örtlund in the 73rd minute of play. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a FC NILS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Åke Utter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. FC NILS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Tomas Illescas scored to the left of an out of position Åke Utter, making the score, 5-1. 82 minutes into the game, FC NILS's Florencio Gaueko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. 85 minutes in the game, Tomas Illescas dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Camilo Gaos was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of FC NILS booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Zebastian Palmkvist notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC NILS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
