Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Sabri Taci sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, 『挑战者』太平·一生铭记≮浙≯'s 曲文骋 got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 30th minute, 江卫振 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. In the 35th minute, László Várdai made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Alex Chicote made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by 『挑战者』太平·一生铭记≮浙≯'s 江卫振. 40 minutes into the match, 『挑战者』太平·一生铭记≮浙≯'s László Várdai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from László Várdai in the 46th minute of play. László Várdai scored 3-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Sabri Taci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. László Várdai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabri Taci in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Baladi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the game, 『挑战者』太平·一生铭记≮浙≯'s László Várdai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 80th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If László Várdai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Venezuela booed when 『挑战者』太平·一生铭记≮浙≯ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. 江卫振 didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 『挑战者』太平·一生铭记≮浙≯ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
