The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 57 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karl-Erik Lind who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Sataporn Snabl heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. KIA KAHA's Thomas Corredor was substituted for Marcelino Calzada. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Glanselius in the 64th minute of the match. Axel Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Fabio Santilli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Fabio Santilli acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 85th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kevin Mastache. KIA KAHA's Karl-Erik Lind quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Cazalla, made in the 89th minute of the game.
