Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio-Paul Caniggia came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Alberto Kempes struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LCPP. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th match minute, LCPP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio-Paul Caniggia to maneuver through the defense. After 13th play minutes Mario Alberto Kempes shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jacobo Nores and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 17th match minute, LCPP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sugar Leonard to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Hector Covarrubias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of LCPP booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Zoido didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Mario Alberto Kempes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacobo Nores showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 35th play minutes Claudio-Paul Caniggia shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Jacobo Nores and just under the crossbar into goal. Mario Alberto Kempes in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacobo Nores, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The wind increased when Mario Alberto Kempes made the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Alberto Kempes in the 52nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Mario Alberto Kempes sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Claudio-Paul Caniggia managed to get in a good position for a shot. LCPP's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio-Paul Caniggia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Alberto Kempes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LCPP made a substitution. Ataka Krieser replaced Godfredo Musko. LCPP made a substitution. Osvald Ugla replaced Mario Alberto Kempes. Osvald Ugla struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LCPP. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Ataka Krieser stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Ataka Krieser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LCPP made a substitution. Francisco Garaona replaced Claudio-Paul Caniggia. Francisco Garaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in LCPP's zone, Primitivo Escribano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lennart Kvist came out of the goal and Primitivo Escribano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ataka Krieser recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 92 minutes of play, LCPP's Osvald Ugla made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there!
