Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ragnar Johnsson got the match started through his kick off. Di Röe's Ragnar Johnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Di Röe's Jens-Ove Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Di Röe's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Facundo Cadaval managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Ove Åkesson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jens-Ove Åkesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 11th minute of play. Jens-Ove Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Joel Gaona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Ove Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Luca Zorita hit a great ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Di Röe defense, Luca Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jens-Ove Åkesson. The Di Röe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens-Ove Åkesson should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Di Röe's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Jens-Ove Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Ove Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Magnus Tham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens-Ove Ekberg in the 33rd minute. Di Röe's Jens-Ove Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 34th minute of play. Jens-Ove Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Di Röe's Jens-Ove Åkesson. Jens-Ove Åkesson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 42 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jens-Ove Åkesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th minute, Karl-Åke Almqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Mexico's Joel Gaona tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Mexico booed when Di Röe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Kihlman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 52 played minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jens-Ove Åkesson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it. After 53 played minutes Di Röe got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Tham. In the 55th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ove Åkesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Di Röe's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Ove Åkesson came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jens-Ove Åkesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Facundo Cadaval recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jens-Ove Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 68th minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Di Röe! Jens-Ove Åkesson had in the 73rdth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Gaona's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a little luck, Di Röe's Jens-Ove Åkesson got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jens-Ove Åkesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th match minute, Di Röe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Hedkvist to maneuver through the defense. Jens-Ove Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 81st minute of the match. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jens-Ove Åkesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Jens-Ove Åkesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. After 91 played minutes Di Röe got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Rydelius. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. In the 98th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
