Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Guilherme Abud got the match started through his kick off. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Pinheiro having to interfere. DENVER™'s Toninho Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 10th minute of play. Toninho Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Luca Rouco put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Mexico:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of DENVER™:s goal. Mexico:s Dante Lacasa showed great skill when he stopped Conrado Paraibano:s penalty. 18 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Toninho Pinheiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Toninho Pinheiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, DENVER™'s Diguinho Vargas got a free kick in the 43rd minute. DENVER™'s Toninho Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toninho Pinheiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lautaro Mancebo to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the DENVER™ defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toninho Pinheiro. The DENVER™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toninho Pinheiro should have stopped the shot. 64 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of DENVER™'s Toninho Pinheiro. Toninho Pinheiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. DENVER™'s Márcio Guedes was substituted for Rodrigo Velasco. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Toninho Pinheiro in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diguinho Vargas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, one of DENVER™:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by DENVER™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Luca Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DENVER™'s Toninho Pinheiro did a great save. Toninho Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toninho Pinheiro. DENVER™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. With a little luck, DENVER™'s Toninho Pinheiro got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th match minute, DENVER™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleithon Minuhin to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toninho Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for DENVER™! Joel Gaona shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Gino Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 99th minute, Adrianinho Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Joel Gaona from long distance, 100 minutes into the match, got Toninho Pinheiro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The DENVER™ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
