Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kip Bout started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kip Bout in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mátyás Jónás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Miklós Vas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kip Bout in the 24th minute. If Áron Szőnyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK defense, Agustín Saelices kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mátyás Jónás. The BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mátyás Jónás should have stopped the shot. Mátyás Jónás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Kip Bout's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 45th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kip Bouts short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Mátyás Jónás took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kip Bout in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Áron Szőnyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Mátyás Jónás made a huge save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Áron Szőnyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's Ákos Bihari was substituted for Kip Bout. 86 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mátyás Jónás narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mátyás Jónás. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's Venancio Griful got a free kick in the 90th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ákos Bihari in the 93rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
