Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 10th minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Omar Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Omar Duardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vancouver Reds's Omar Duardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 24th minute of play. Omar Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 25th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 38th minute of play. Omar Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 45th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. The Mexico fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Mexico's Facundo Cadaval looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 66 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Görkem Büyükada in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Luca Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Omar Duardo. Luca Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Görkem Büyükada kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Duardo having to interfere. Mexico's Luca Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Omar Duardo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 95th minute of play. The Mexico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
