After 2 played minutes, Honduras's Sebastian Villa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zisis Vourlis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Honduras reached it. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Wit Zapolski notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Tafalla in the 10th minute of play forced Πυργετός Fc's goalkeeper Zisis Vourlis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wit Zapolski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wit Zapolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 played minutes Πυργετός Fc got a freekick which was hit by Christian Martxelin. Anthimos Kousouridis charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anthimos Kousouridis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Πυργετός Fc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! The supporters of Honduras booed when Πυργετός Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Martxelin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Πυργετός Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Zisis Vourlis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zisis Vourlis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 32nd minute of play. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Zisis Vourlis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Zisis Vourlis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Πυργετός Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Zisis Vourlis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Honduras's Edmundo Espiga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zisis Vourlis. That made the score 1-2 after 54 minutes of play. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Πυργετός Fc's Wit Zapolski. But to his dismay, Wit Zapolski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Zisis Vourlis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Sebastian Villa hit a great ball. After 70 played minutes Πυργετός Fc got a freekick which was hit by Justin Groth. Wit Zapolski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wit Zapolski's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Πυργετός Fc's Wit Zapolski got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wit Zapolski hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wit Zapolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Timos Vrachnos fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Πυργετός Fc's protests and gave Timos Vrachnos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Πυργετός Fc's Timos Vrachnos got a free kick in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Wit Zapolski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Groth in the 86th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valer Trifu who took care of the corner kick. Valer Trifu made a great header on Πυργετός Fc's corner, it was just that Honduras's Lautaro Navarro managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a free kick in the 91st minute. Wit Zapolski charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wit Zapolski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Πυργετός Fc getting a freekick after 93 minutes play.
