Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Sundens BK's Tommy Asserlindh started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Sundens BK's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Martinsson came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Axel Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 6th minute of play. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Axel Martinsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Tommy Asserlindh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sundens BK's Axel Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Honduras booed when Sundens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niklas Skålberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 played minutes Sundens BK got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Borges. Axel Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Cao Ting Ting tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Lautaro Navarro managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Sundens BK's Jan-Ove Lindmark fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Asserlindh, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Sebastian Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Axel Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Honduras's Esteban Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Niklas Skålberg in the 51 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Moises Tafalla got a free kick in the 55th minute. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Asserlindh in the 61st minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. Sundens BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edmundo Espiga made a great header on Honduras's corner, it was just that Sundens BK's Axel Martinsson managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 67th match minute, Sundens BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niklas Skålberg to maneuver through the defense. Niklas Skålberg made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Cao Ting Ting recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Asserlindh in the 85th minute of play.
