Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lopez Arrillaga in the 7th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metin Keçeci, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 13th minute, Milagros Fraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of play forced Százhalombattai VUK SE's goalkeeper Tanek Nakoneczny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Berganza to maneuver through the defense. Százhalombattai VUK SE's Tanek Nakoneczny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 36th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Lopez Arrillaga sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of play forced Százhalombattai VUK SE's goalkeeper Tanek Nakoneczny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Százhalombattai VUK SE booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonso Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Százhalombattai VUK SE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Félix Dobó in the 50th minute. A nice corner shot did that Félix Dobó got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lopez Arrillaga to make the kick off. Tanek Nakoneczny stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Százhalombattai VUK SE's Gábor Takács was substituted for Kornél Ács. In the 66th minute, Százhalombattai VUK SE's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eliseo Mina fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 69th minute of the match, Julian Murillo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tanek Nakoneczny was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eliseo Mina's late challenge caught a Százhalombattai VUK SE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Mina helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Mina to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Százhalombattai VUK SE's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Tanek Nakoneczny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Peru booed when Százhalombattai VUK SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Lain didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Tanek Nakoneczny threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Luz Tejedor this time. After 81 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Prats. Moises Gayoso hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Gábor Takács hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Gábor Takács kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanek Nakoneczny having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Gallo in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tanek Nakoneczny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 97 minutes into the match, Százhalombattai VUK SE's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Tanek Nakoneczny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
