The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Teodoro Eliu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Conrado Costante tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Fabricio Beremundo charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabricio Beremundo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabricio Beremundo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bar-Met FC's goalkeeper Pablo Hunfredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 89 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas.
