PICCOLE PESTI's Miguel Orlondon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play. After 45 played minutes PICCOLE PESTI got a freekick which was hit by Donato Dossena. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. A hard, long distance shot from Cristian Sancho flew over the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Lidman, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
