Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Miguel, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldinho Miguel in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. Cassius Byrne scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kent Beckeman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hasta Alfonso in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Sam Campbell got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Glentown FC's Tom Lindholm managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Raphael Moore in the 88 minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Ove Skålberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sam Campbell came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kent Beckeman could save by the left post. USA played a much better game than Glentown FC and deserved their victory. The Glentown FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
