Arnaldo Basajaun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 31st minute. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Armağan Yörük was slow to take the kick. During this time CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's players had a chance to rest. Armağan Yörük made a great header on CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Basajaun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Basajaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Basajaun in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Arnaldo Basajaun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariusz Komornicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Jorge-Luis Valdivia was substituted for Armağan Yörük. After 81 played minutes CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE got a freekick which was hit by Armağan Yörük. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge-Luis Valdivia couldn't finish the play. Venezuela's Jose Correa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jorge-Luis Valdivia, made in the 94th minute of the game. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
