Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lekparken FC's Sigge Holmberg. Sigge Holmberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyryl Kiewra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigge Holmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play forced Lekparken FC's goalkeeper Sigge Holmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sigge Holmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 21st minute of play forced Lekparken FC's goalkeeper Sigge Holmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Lekparken FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Antonio Arias to a score. 0-2 in the 23rd minute. Lekparken FC's Sigge Holmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Måns Stålman in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Lekparken FC's Taha Ali got a free kick in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Cyryl Kiewra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lekparken FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 47th match minute, Lekparken FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyryl Kiewra to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Sigge Holmberg in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cyryl Kiewra in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. With a little luck, Lekparken FC's Sigge Holmberg got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Bastos in the 66th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigge Holmberg having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Sigge Holmberg in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Sigge Holmberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 77 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Henry Holmberg kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 81st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sigge Holmberg but with some difficulty. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lekparken FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Sigge Holmberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 92nd minute Lekparken FC were awarded a corner. Edgard Alves went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Måns Stålman managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
